📍 Centurion Estates · Centurion
Midlands Estate is an access-controlled golf and lifestyle estate on the Centurion side of the R55, and estate work has rules that ordinary suburb installs do not. We book gate access before we arrive and install to the estate's aesthetic requirements.
Midlands Estate sits between Centurion and Olifantsfontein, alongside Midstream and within easy reach of Irene, Rooihuiskraal and the Samrand corridor — all on the same daily route, so a Midlands Estate booking is usually filled the same day.
Access comes first. We supply technician and vehicle details for pre-authorisation at the gate so your visit is not lost waiting at the boom, and we work within the estate's building-hours and contractor rules. If your HOA requires prior approval for anything fixed to the roof or an exterior wall, tell us when you book and we will supply the placement detail you need to submit.
The homes here are newer than the Pretoria East stock, which changes the work. Dishes must be kept out of street view where the line of sight allows, cable is run through the roof void or in trunking rather than across plaster and face brick, and every roof penetration on the clay and concrete tile roofs is properly sealed. Where a home already has structured cabling or conduit from the build, we use it instead of adding new surface runs.
The most common Midlands Estate requests are multi-room setups: Smart LNB or multiswitch distribution to four or more TV points, Extra View linking between the main lounge, bedrooms, patio and a flatlet, plus TV wall mounting with concealed cabling. Fault work is typically decoder or LNB related rather than dish alignment, because estate roofs are newer and the dishes have not weathered as long.
We send technician and vehicle details ahead of the visit so security can pre-authorise entry. Book with your stand or street number and we handle the rest.
Dish kept off the street-facing elevation where the line of sight allows, cabling concealed in the roof void or trunking, no exposed runs across plaster.
Most estate homes need four or more points. We plan the multiswitch or Smart LNB distribution once, so adding a room later does not mean re-cabling.
We answer the phone 6am–8pm, 7 days a week, public holidays included. Faults in Midlands Estate never happen conveniently — a storm at seven in the evening, an Extra View link that drops the night before a big match, a decoder that won't boot after a surge. Phone 066 126 5436 whenever it happens and we'll diagnose on the call first; a rescan, a re-pairing or an LNB voltage check often solves it there and then at no charge.
Where a technician is needed, our vans carry LNBs, brackets, quality coax, F-connectors, wall plates and swap-out decoders, so most Midlands Estate jobs — same day — finish in one visit.
We're usually already working nearby — these areas are on the same route as Midlands Estate.
We provide technician name, ID and vehicle details when you book so security can pre-authorise the visit, and we work within the estate's contractor hours. It helps if you notify the gate as well on the morning of the appointment.
We install to estate norms as standard: dish positioned away from the street elevation where the signal path allows, concealed cabling, sealed tile-roof fixings and no surface runs on exterior walls. If your HOA needs written approval first, tell us at booking and we will give you the placement detail to submit.
Yes — complete DStv installations in Midlands Estate including dish and bracket mounting, Smart LNB, decoder setup and activation, Explora and Explora Ultra installations, Extra View linking and neat cabling to every TV point.
Midlands Estate is on our daily Centurion route, so most jobs booked in the morning are done the same day. Urgent no-signal faults are attended urgently — we are open 6am–8pm, 7 days a week.
Almost always on the first visit. Highveld storms knock dishes out of alignment, flood LNBs and surge decoders. We re-peak the dish on a signal meter, test the LNB, connectors and cable, and replace only what is genuinely faulty.
Yes. Extra View lets a second or third decoder run on one subscription. We install the extra point, link and verify it on both decoders before we leave.
We do — television repair services, VCR repairs, home theatre connections and TV wall mounting are all handled by the same Centurion team, so one call covers the whole setup.
