We start with a walkthrough of the property and how you actually live in it — which lights get switched at night, who opens the gate during the day, where the cameras need to see, and which rooms need sound. From that we design a system around hardware that is supported locally, then quote it in writing before a single cable is pulled.

Installation covers the wiring, the smart switches, hubs, cameras, gate and door controllers, network and access points, followed by app setup on every phone in the house and a handover where we show each person how to run their part of it. Nothing gets left as a half-configured app icon.

Smart lighting is where most homes start: dimmable zones, scenes for evening and away-mode schedules that make an empty house look occupied. Gate and garage automation adds phone-based opening, arrival notifications and visitor access without handing out remotes.

CCTV and video intercom bring the perimeter onto the same app, with motion alerts and recorded footage you can pull up from anywhere. Smart locks, beams and sensors then tie into scenes, so arming the alarm can also drop the lights, close the garage and arm the cameras in one tap.

Automation only feels good on a network that holds up, so we specify mesh Wi-Fi, cabled access points and proper switching before adding devices. Multi-room audio, the patio speakers, the projector and the DStv decoder all sit on the same control layer as the lighting.

In estates such as Midstream, Midlands, Waterfall, Bryanston and Silver Lakes we install to estate specification — concealed cabling, approved brackets, tidy trunking and paperwork where the body corporate asks for it.
