Corrugated and IBR roofs need the bracket bolted into purlins and sealed properly; tile roofs need a tile-hook or wall mount rather than cracked tiles; flat estate roofs usually take a weighted non-penetrating mount. Where trees, a second storey or an estate rule blocks the roof, a high gable wall mount or a pole mount solves it cleanly.
